Reliable File-transfer

The IP Multicast based reliable File-transfer is the backbone of many file distribution systems delivering large files to multiple locations like VOD or digital signage.

Uses techniques like Forward Error Correction (FEC), Negative acknowledgement and carousel transmission to ensure reliable content delivery and time-accurate reception. It makes possible to deliver content to the growing range of Internet Protocol (IP) devices .

"Streaming-center" is a PC client reception software module available on Linux and Windows. This tool is available with GUI or API and can be used either standalone or as part of a business application.

SkyTask is a folder replication application running on top of deuromedia reliable File Transfer system. It allows a central operator to have it's folder structure replicated to an unlimited number of client machines connected to a satellite dish.

Native DVB broadcast

The consumer electronic devices designed for the mass market tend to be embedded devices with limited hardware resources. The DSMCC object carousel is used to insert data directly into the DVB Transport stream without the overhead of the IP. This allows streamlining the receiving tool and using it on low cost devices.

The deuromedia dsmcc receiver is an embedded cross-platform software module which is built-in in third party embedded digital set-tops. Is used to receive EPG , HTML and control files from dsmcc head-end. It exposes a simple API and delivers the received files to the host application hiding the complexity of the dsmcc standard.

The EIT parser is an embedded software module used to receive, parse and expose EPG data from the standard DVB-EIT tables. The host application accesses the EPG data through its simple API not having to implement the complex EIT logic.

The viewer DMC/ Digital Multimedia Center

Is a high-end hybrid DVB-S, IP SetTopBox featuring HDTV, PVR, time-shift, POP3 mail, Browser. It is available on several hardware platforms.

The viewer PC

The viewer - is a Windows application for the reception, playback and recording of digital TV and Radio channels. It extends the Windows Explorer functionality, providing direct access to the DVB TV and Radio channels, without the need of using a separate tool. It also provides an integrated Electronic Program Guide interface (fast access from Windows Explorer Toolbar) that displays the TV and radio channels schedule for several days ahead.
